"The Future is Fluid"
“The Future is Fluid” is a college that combines my appreciation for transgender identities and public transit, the two tied together by their fluidity. My climate activism is heavily informed by the resilience, creativity, and radical norm resistance that comes with being trans. In many ways, my fluidity has become my superpower. In the same way, fluidity is also inherent to prominent climate change solutions, such as the expansion of public transit. Trolleys, trains, and buses are in near constant motion, more efficient than their car counterparts. I look forward to a future in which the San Diego/Tijuana bioregion is interwoven with a robust public transit network, providing essential flow and connection within our community.
